Hope Counselling Service Print E-mail

The Hope Counselling Service offers professional counselling to the local community, regardless of age, race, creed, colour or social status.

Formed in the 1990's the Hope Trust (Bedford) purchased a property at 118 Brickhill Drive and the service now operates from that house.

Although the counselling offered has a Christian foundation and adheres to Christian values it is not necessary for clients to have any church background.

We deal with difficult issues such as:
    - Marriage problems
    - Different types of abuse
    - Family problems
    - Other relationship problems
    - Eating disorders
    - Bereavement
    - Adoption issues
    - Guilt
    - Anxiety
    - Self acceptance
    - Coping skills

The counselling team consists of men and women who have been professionally trained. Team members continually update their skills and receive regular supervision. They are members of professional organisations such as the Association of Christian Counsellors and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Clients come to us by a variety of routes including self-referral and other agencies.

There is no charge for the service, although donations are welcome.

For further information or an application form please telephone 01234 271903 or contact us.
