Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon during July and August the Stepping Stone Café in Bedford Park will be open from 2pm to 6pm, serving hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, and other refreshments. The Café has been run by Brickhill Baptist Church with the involvement of several other local churches since 2003.

Why?

Everyone serving in the Café is an unpaid volunteer and the cakes are made in homes and donated free of charge. Christians believe that God has called them to declare His love to the world in what we say and what we do. One of the ways we can show our town this love is by running projects such as this Café. We’re not asking for anything in return, we’re not looking to make a profit, we just want to serve the people who come here.
